4 billion kWh of electricity saved for the past 5 years

According to the assessment of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Hoang Quoc Vuong, many power-saving programs have been implemented, such as electricity saving in offices, in power production and trading, in industrial production; programs popularizing the websites of energy-saving devices such as compact bulbs, electronic ballasts, electric fans ... Therefore, more than 1 billion kWh of electricity has been saved every, accounting for 1% of the total production of average annual commercial electricity (about 80 billion kWh). However, this is just the initial result and it is still limited (the target is 3%).
